Thank you for being one of our valued customers. Copeland Auto Group is deeply committed to the health and safety of our customers, employees and communities. Copeland Auto Group like many companies, has a robust business continuity plan and emergency procedures that predate the COVID-19 outbreak. Over the recent weeks we have been implementing those plans and ensuring their effectiveness. In addition, we are leveraging the guidance of the CDC and state and local authorities. As a result, of this we have temporarily reduced our business hours. Below is an outline of the actions we are asking our employees, vendors, and customers to take:
STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK
We are asking all employees, vendors, and customers that they stay home if they are sick. All employees have their temperature checked at the start of each shift.
MASKS REQUIRED IN THE FACILITY
Customer, Employees, and Vendors are required to wear masks to enter the facility. Employees are using clean gloves when in direct contact with customers and vehicles.
SOCIAL DISTANCING & TRANSACTION POINT SHIELDS We have installed social distancing floor markers at all transaction points. In addition, we have put plastic desk shields at all transaction counters.
SERVICE DRIVE PROCESS CHANGES
All customers who enter our service drive are asked to remain in their vehicle until a Service Advisor is available to assist you. All vehicles are covered with a steering wheel cover, floor mat, seat cover, and shift knob cover prior to be touched by our staff. NEW & USED VEHICLE PURCHASES
We have changed our sales process to create a completely contactless process using Shop-Click-Drive, Remote Trade-in Appraisals, Remote e-Contracting, Home Delivery, and all purchases are cleaned with Chevrolet approved disinfectants. These disinfectants are safe for all interior materials and are also approved by the EPA and CDC.
Customers can now pay with G Pay, Apple Pay, or other contactless credit cards at our cashier. In addition, vehicle deposits can now be made online.
HAND SANITIZER STATIONS INSTALLED
We have installed hand sanitizer stations throughout the facility for your convenience.
WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY & EXERCISE ENHANCED HYGIENE
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing; going to the bathroom; before eating or preparing food; and before and after every customer interaction. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol, covering all surfaces of your hands and rubbing them together until they feel dry. If you cough, sneeze, or touch any part of your face, especially while interacting with a customer, excuse yourself and immediately wash your hands.
COVER YOUR COUGHS & SNEEZES
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw used tissues in a lined trash can. Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or, if soap and water are not available, clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
WE ARE CLEANING ALL “HIGH-TOUCH” SURFACES AT A MINIMUM 3 TIMES DAILY
High-touch surfaces, such as desks, should be wiped down morning, mid-day, and evening with the cleaning materials that have been provided to you.
These surfaces are also being wiped down after each individual customer interaction.
High touch surfaces include desks, counters, tabletops, doorknobs, chairs, armrests, bathroom fixtures, toilets, phones, keyboards, tablets, and bedside tables. Use a household cleaning spray or wipe, according to the label instructions. Labels contain instructions for safe and effective use of the cleaning product including precautions you should take when applying the product, such as wearing gloves and making sure you have good ventilation during use of the product.
NIGHTLY DEEP CLEANING
We have been in contact with each of our professional cleaning services who, along with regular maintenance, are performing frequent deep cleans, paying special attention to high-traffic areas, and adhering to all OSHA regulations and standards to ensure our employees work in a safe and healthful environment.
NO HANDSHAKE POLICY
Copeland Automotive Group has implemented a “no handshake” policy, and a sign will be placed at reception alerting customers and other visitors.
With increasing concerns surrounding Coronavirus, the health and safety of our dealership, employees, and customers is our highest priority. We will continue to monitor the alerts and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization and will alert employees of any changes affecting the dealership.
