Efficient performance

Under the hood of the 2024 Chevrolet Trax is the same turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine as the one you’ll find in the Chevy Trailblazer. Despite the engine’s small size, it delivers an impressive 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque, giving you plenty of accelerating power to get past other cars even with the whole family aboard. Indeed, the Trax’s sporty looks are not just for sure. It uses a six-speed automatic transmission to send power to the front wheels only, and gets an GM-estimated 30 mpg on the highway.[1] 

    Next-gen design

    The 2024 Trax is radically different than its predecessor. It’s wider and longer, with design cues borrowed from the larger Blazer. The top-end ACTIV and RS trims feature unique grills, wheels, and interior accents, as well as a sleek monochromatic exterior in the case of the ACTIV. Inside, the Trax has also received a makeover. It has about three more inches of rear legroom and extra cargo space on top. It also features more intuitive controls and a beautiful new dashboard with contrasting red and yellow accents on the ACTIV and RS, respectively.

      Advanced infotainment

      Standard in the new Chevy Trax LS and 1RS is an 8-inch infotainment touch-screen display, which is larger than the largest version previously offered in the 2022 model. It gets even bigger, though. On the LT trim and up is an 11-inch display that comes with an 8-inch digital gauge cluster. All of this serves as the main command hub for the standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration, available wireless phone charger, and available Wi-Fi hotspot. Every Trax also comes with at least two USB ports (one Type-A and one Type-C). Wherever your adventures take you, it’s all too easy to stay connected in the Chevrolet Trax.

        Smart driver assistance

        The standard features just keep on coming. Every new Trax has Chevy Safety Assist, a high-tech bundle of driver assistance systems that can help you avoid accidents. It includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, lane-keeping assistance, and a following distance indicator. Adaptive cruise control is offered as an option. Other notable safety features include 10 standard airbags and a rearview camera, available rear parking sensors, and blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. The most recent NHTSA crash tests show the Trax received the maximum five-star score for overall safety.

          Upscale features

          Where the 2024 Chevrolet Trax goes above and beyond in offering excellent interior comfort at an affordable price. Despite its low starting MSRP, the Trax feels remarkably upscale with standard features like LED headlights and Active Noise Cancellation technology. Every trim adds valuable upscale features, like the 1RS’s heated front seats, heated flat-bottom steering wheel, and heated exterior mirrors. The LT adds rear USB ports and a six-speaker sound system while the 2RS features a leather-wrapped steering wheel and simulated leather seats. And on the top-end ACTIV, which still starts at under $25,000, you get all of the above plus a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.
